What I like about watercolor

Watercolor has always been my medium of choice. For me it was always fast and to the point. But lately I am enjoying the strategy and complexities of using the paint, brush, paper and water. I have to make a plan and with patience am able to create layers of color that really know how to make a statement, exude feeling and hopefully take the viewer to a place that speaks to them individually.
